Jamesville-DeWitt High School (JDHS) is a New York State public education facility located in the Town of DeWitt, serving high school students (grades 9–12) in the Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District. The current principal is Mr. Paul Gasparini.

Location

As noted in the Alma Mater, the School rests upon a hilltop off of Edinger Dr. These hills have many fields, used for athletics, as well as snowshoeing and sledding during the winter. J-D is commonly on the list of Top 1000 schools in the country, and is one of the best districts in sports and academics in the Central New York area.

Notables include former NBA player Danny Schayes (Class of '77), former NFL and Syracuse University Orange players Scott Schwedes (Class of 1983), Robert Drummond (Class of 1985), and LPGA golfer Suzy Whaley (Class of 1984) who in 2003 became the first woman to qualify for a PGA Tour event. Current New York Knicks guard and former Syracuse Orange basketball star Andy Rautins, also graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt Class of 2005. Rautins scored over 1,000 points in his basketball career at JD and lead the team to a 29–0 perfect season including the State Championship and Federations.
